• Q1 - During jama'at prayers, can I do the salams and finish them before the Imam of the group prayers or do I have to recite them after he finishes them? How about during the tashahhud? 

  A - It is necessary for the follower that, besides that which is recited in the prayers, he should perform all acts like Ruku and Sajdah with the Imam or a little after him, and if he performs them before the Imam, or after a considerable delay, intentionally, his congregational prayers becomes void. However, if he converts to Furada (solo prayers), his prayers will be in order. Also if you do it on accident it is okay.
